The iPad invasion has begun

The iPad invasion has begun. While it is no secret that TBL has fully adopted the iPhone as the mobile device for its employees, the skepticism of the iPad being only a larger iPhone that doesn’t fit in one’s pocket very easily has been quickly forgotten by many at TBL. Yes, once the monolithic gadget made its way onto store shelves, it found its way onto the desks of many TBL employees. Cisco Collaboration Partner of the Year, East Area

Cisco Recognizes TBL Networks Commitment and Success with Collaboration Solutions

Cisco announced today that TBL Networks is the recipient of a Cisco Partner Summit regional award for the 2010 Collaboration Partner of the Year for Cisco’s East Area. Cisco unveiled the winners April 27 at its annual channel partner conference in San Francisco, CA. Collaboration technologies refer to the umbrella architecture of Unified Communications, Business Video, and Digital Media solutions from Cisco.

“It is an honor to present TBL Networks as a Cisco Partner Summit regional award winner,” said Wendy Bahr, senior vice president, U.S. and Canada channels at Cisco. “The Collaboration Partner of the Year award recognizes TBL’s performance and achievements as a Cisco channel partner in our East Area in 2009.”

Cisco Partner Summit awards are presented at three levels: regional, theater and global. Cisco Partner Summit U.S. regional awards reflect a partner’s performance in a given geographic region of the United States. Cisco’s East Area is comprised of 13 states and a district (Virginia through Maine), and represents over 2000 Cisco Partners that operate within its territory. It was announced that the award was bestowed upon TBL for its 322% year over year growth, with 264% growth in Collaboration technologies alone, and TBL’s #1 Collaboration ranking within its home territory of Virginias Commercial.
