It isn’t all about the accolades. But if it was, this is where you’d read about it. Part of what we hang our hat on at TBL is that we bring a human touch to technology. And part of being human is being proud of our accomplishments. Here’s a look at some of our recent accolades and awards.
With over 35 years of combined experience in Unified Communications, we have been working with Cisco IP Telephony systems since their inception. Our Solutions Engineers have personally installed over 30,000 Cisco IP Phones and configured over 2,700 Cisco Call Center Seats in customer networks across the country. Five members of our team have achieved the highest level of telephony certification possible, the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Voice. TBL Networks employs four of the eight Cisco Voice CCIEs in Central Virginia — a fact we are proud of as there are less than 2,000 Cisco Voice CCIEs worldwide.

RichTech Honors TBL Networks at 2010 Technology Stars Award Gala for its Growth
At their 15th annual Technology Stars Awards Gala, RichTech honored TBL Networks as Emerging Company of the Year. RichTech serves to promote the region as a technology center and provides a vehicle for addressing the needs of Central Virginia’s dynamic technology community. RichTech’s Annual Technology Stars Awards Gala has become the premier event honoring outstanding individuals, corporate and community leaders, entrepreneurs and pioneers in Central Virginia. The Emerging Company Award goes the local technology company that has demonstrated recent growth in revenues and/or employees – a company whose recognized accomplishments and prospects demonstrates the ability to achieve commercial success. Cherry Bekaert & Holland sponsored the Emerging Company Award.

Cisco Recognizes TBL Networks Commitment and Success with Collaboration Solutions
Cisco announced today that TBL Networks is the recipient of a Cisco Partner Summit regional award for the 2010 Collaboration Partner of the Year for Cisco’s East Area. Cisco unveiled the winners April 27 at its annual channel partner conference in San Francisco, CA. Collaboration technologies refer to the umbrella architecture of Unified Communications, Business Video, and Digital Media solutions from Cisco.
“It is an honor to present TBL Networks as a Cisco Partner Summit regional award winner,” said Wendy Bahr, senior vice president, U.S. and Canada channels at Cisco. “The Collaboration Partner of the Year award recognizes TBL’s performance and achievements as a Cisco channel partner in our East Area in 2009.”
Cisco Partner Summit awards are presented at three levels: regional, theater and global. Cisco Partner Summit U.S. regional awards reflect a partner’s performance in a given geographic region of the United States. Cisco’s East Area is comprised of 13 states and a district (Virginia through Maine), and represents over 2000 Cisco Partners that operate within its territory. It was announced that the award was bestowed upon TBL for its 322% year over year growth, with 264% growth in Collaboration technologies alone, and TBL’s #1 Collaboration ranking within its home territory of Virginias Commercial.
