The case study goes on to outline additional hard and soft cost savings realized by TBL Networks from its investment in Cisco Unified Communications. TBL Networks Account Engineer Designated TSS

Cisco bestows TSS for Voice upon Alan Sears

Alan Sears, Account Engineer for TBL Networks, was officially designated as a Technology Solution Specialist (TSS) for Cisco Voice Advanced Technology products today by a review board of Cisco employees. Alan is the only Voice TSS in the Virginia Region.

A Technology Solution Specialist is a qualification given to a Cisco Partner Engineers who can expertly explain, demonstrate, & design a technical solution within a particular technology, as well as escalate and facilitate post-sales issues during the implementation phase. A TSS must continue to participate and stay current in their chosen technology to maintain their designation. Cisco created the TSS Program to create awareness within Cisco for the best partner pre-sales engineers, create demand in the customer base for the best partner pre-sales engineers, and recognize partner pre-sales excellence.

Alan Sears is President of TBL Networks, Inc. and has served as an Account Engineer for the past year. Alan was also an asset to the local Cisco team for almost 7 years and was the voice expert for the Virginia Commercial Region. He was the first Cisco Systems Engineer to achieve Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) for Voice and remains one of only 4 in Central Virginia. Alan’s talents extend beyond telephony to include the industry standard Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. Alan resides on the Southside of Richmond with his wife and 1.5 children.

TBL opens new office in Norh Park building

TBL Networks held its first day of operations in its new corporate office today. TBL relocated its headquarters to the North Park building in the Innsbrook Buisness Park of Richmond’s prestigous West End. The new location boasts executive offices, an operations department, and first class breifing facilities for hosting customer visits.
